While gearing up for their inaugural production, the world premiere of SURVIVE!, Swim Pony Performing Arts will be co-hosting Philadelphia’s next large-scale improv event “Glowstick Milky Way Galaxy” with the Drexel group Urban Playground. In the spirit of Urban Playground’s April 1st 30th Street Station Freeze, Swim Pony and Urban Playground are calling all organized fun enthusiasts to wear black and come to Woodland Walk (34th and Chestnut Street in University City) yielding sources of glowing light such as cell phones, glowsticks, and flashlights to create a human, spinning representation of our galaxy on May 21 from 10 - 10:30pm. So, grab a glowstick, your cell phone, and a flashlight or two, and we’ll see you there!
