We were thrilled to have the opportunity to help The Wilma Theater develop their new web site. We've been working with this award-winning theater company, handling their PR for many seasons, so we were excited to create a new full-featured site to showcase their work. We collaborated with their principal designer Caren Goldstein, and took the lead on site architecture, Drupal build, and theming. Ars Nova Workshop had outgrown their early static html site and needed a site that allowed them to much more easily spread the word about the unique Jazz and Avant-Garde events they promote in Philadelphia. They also wanted the ability to easily turn their calendar of events into a rich database of musical history with streaming audio and video, and to create an online store to support their new music label. We’ve always loved Nichole Canuso’s work as a dance artist and performer and her ability to create what she describes as “”dances that celebrate the awkwardness, humor and surprise in human experience.”  Canary created a website for Nichole’s company with subtle design elements that give a nod to the whimsy in her work, while keeping the images of her dance pieces and the latest news front and center.

EverywhereProject.org

Up and coming choreographer Kate Watson-Wallace came to us to build a site for her experimental social dance project and contest, the Everywhere Project. People from everywhere in the world can enter the dance contest by posting videos to Vimeo, which are displayed on this site. Then they can get more and more involved by sending instructions to Kate's dancers, which they're using as they construct their next large-scale piece.

ColbertNation.com is the official fan site for the popular Comedy Central show The Colbert Report, hosted by former Daily Show correspondent and political humorist Stephen Colbert. Described as “the unofficial Colbert site, for the hardcore fan,” the website is the main online destination for the show’s 1.3 million viewers.  Our version of the site was intentionally designed to look like a super-fansite created by an amateur web designer.
